The short answer

  • We arrange both corporate experiences on the ground in Ghana and gift hampers of genuinely local, well-made goods.
  • Experiences range from drumming and kente-weaving sessions to guided city tours and Aburi day trips for visiting teams.
  • Gifts lean on real Ghanaian craft: handwoven kente, Krobo glass beads, single-origin cocoa chocolate and shea butter, not airport tat.
  • Everything is arranged around your budget, headcount and whether recipients are local or overseas.
  • We handle sourcing, logistics and delivery so you are not chasing market traders yourself.
  • Tell us your numbers and occasion and we will build an itemised proposal, no invented prices or padding.

What corporate gifting in Ghana can actually look like

Corporate gifting here does not have to mean a branded pen and a keyring. Ghana makes things worth giving: cloth woven on a loom, glass beads recycled by hand, chocolate made from beans grown a few hours from the workshop. As a Kasoa-based team who arrange these every week, we help companies turn that into gifts and experiences people actually remember.

Two broad requests come up. The first is experiences for a team that is in Ghana, often bolted onto a conference, a retreat or an incentive trip. The second is gift hampers, either handed out at an event in Accra or shipped to clients and staff abroad. We do both, and often a mix of the two.

If your programme sits at the premium end, our luxury Ghana travel guide gives a sense of the standard we can work to.

Gifts worth giving: real Ghanaian craft

We source from makers, not from souvenir shelves. That means the quality holds up and the story behind each item is genuine, which matters when a client asks where it came from.

Popular choices include handwoven kente from the Ashanti weaving town of Bonwire, Adinkra-stamped cloth, and recycled glass beads from the Krobo area around Odumase. On the edible side, Ghana grows some of the world's best cocoa, and locally made single-origin chocolate travels well and surprises people. Shea butter, roasted cashews and craft-roasted coffee round out a hamper nicely.

We can keep gifts modest and tasteful or build a substantial hamper, and we are happy to add a discreet company touch such as a printed card or ribbon. For inspiration on what reads as authentic versus tourist-grade, see our guide to what to buy in Ghana and our deeper kente and textiles guide.

Experiences for teams on the ground

If your people are in Ghana, an experience beats another dinner. We arrange hands-on sessions that get colleagues out of the boardroom and doing something together.

  • Drumming and dance sessions with working musicians, which break the ice fast even for reserved teams.
  • Kente weaving or bead-making demonstrations where everyone tries the craft and takes home what they make.
  • Guided Accra tours taking in Makola Market, Jamestown and the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum.
  • A day trip up to Aburi in the Akuapem hills for the botanical gardens and cooler air.

We handle the logistics that make or break a group day: getting everyone there on time, keeping to a schedule that respects your agenda, and having a guide who can read the room. For a livelier evening add-on, our Accra nightlife guide points to the better options, and our Accra day trips guide covers what fits into a spare afternoon.

The logistics we take off your plate

The reason companies bring us in is rarely that they cannot buy a bolt of kente themselves. It is that coordinating quality, quantity, transport and timing across Accra's markets and workshops is a job in itself, and it is easy to end up with mismatched items and a stressful week.

We manage the sourcing so items match in quality and finish. We arrange transport for teams in air-conditioned cars and Hiace minibuses so nobody is left waiting at a kerb. And for gifts going out, we handle packing and coordinate delivery, whether that is to a hotel ballroom for an event or onward to recipients.

We will always be straight with you about what is realistic on your timeline and budget. If a certain hamper needs more lead time to do properly, we say so rather than cut corners. For teams flying in, we can also cover airport transfers so the first and last impressions are smooth.

How we build your proposal

We do not publish fixed prices for this work because no two briefs match. What shapes the figure is honest and predictable: the number of people or gifts, the quality tier you want, the quantities involved, where things need to go, and how much bespoke detail you would like added.

Give us the occasion, the headcount, a rough budget and any deadline, and we come back with an itemised proposal you can take to your finance team. No mystery mark-ups, no padding. If part of your idea will not deliver well within the budget, we will tell you and suggest an alternative that will.

Most corporate work is confirmed with a deposit and the balance settled per the terms written into your proposal, all agreed before any payment. It is the same straightforward approach we take with every booking.

Questions people ask

How do I book corporate gifting or an experience?

Send us your occasion, headcount, budget and any deadline on WhatsApp or through the site. We come back with an itemised proposal and refine it with you before anything is confirmed.

What is included in a corporate gift hamper?

That depends on the brief, but hampers are built from genuine Ghanaian-made goods such as kente, glass beads, single-origin chocolate and shea butter, packed and, where needed, delivered. Your proposal lists exactly what is included so there are no surprises.

Can everything be customised to our brand and budget?

Yes. We match the gift tier and experience to your budget, and we can add discreet company touches like a printed card. If part of an idea will not deliver well for the money, we will say so and suggest a better fit.

Do you handle both small teams and large groups?

We do. We have arranged intimate client gifts and full-group experiences alike, with transport scaled from saloon cars to Hiace minibuses to match the numbers.

Is a deposit required for corporate bookings?

Most corporate work is confirmed with a deposit, with the balance settled per the terms written into your proposal. Those terms are agreed with you before any payment is made.

Can you deliver gifts to recipients abroad?

We can coordinate onward delivery for gifts going overseas. Because shipping adds lead time and cost, we build that into the proposal honestly and let you know what is realistic for your deadline.

Written by Abdul, founder of Ghana Travel & TourI started this agency in Kasoa Opeikuma, Central Region, in 2020. Our drivers meet flights at Kotoka, our homes are the ones we let in Kasoa, and the routes described here are the ones we run ourselves.

What I know about Ghanaian travel comes from doing it: filing passport and visa applications, booking flights and hotels, collecting people from arrivals at two in the morning, and driving the Accra, Tema, Cape Coast and Kumasi runs week after week. Where this guide describes how something works, it is because we have done it.

Rules, fees and timetables in Ghana change. I have deliberately not quoted figures that go stale — where a number matters I name the office to confirm it with. If you spot something out of date, tell me and we will fix it.
