Booking a hotel in Ghana from abroad is harder than it should be: photos that flatter, a booking site that shows a room the hotel has already sold, an email unanswered for a week, and no way to tell whether "Airport Residential" means five minutes from Kotoka or forty in traffic. For a family of six, a wedding party or a month-long visit home, four hotel rooms and a restaurant bill three times a day can be the wrong shape. Our own three to five bedroom private homes in Kasoa give you a kitchen, a compound, parking inside the gate and one bill. What we can and cannot promise. Availability and rates are confirmed with the hotel at the moment of booking, not before, so an option we sent on Monday can change by Thursday and we will tell you if it has. We put the cancellation terms in writing on every confirmation. We only send options we would book for our own family, which sometimes means fewer choices than a booking site shows. For visa applications we book real, cancellable reservations in your name; we do not produce letters for stays that were never booked, because an embassy can check and a refusal follows you.
