🧾 Booking & payment
How do I get a quote?
Send the trip form on the contact page, message us on WhatsApp (+233 24 915 1503) or email support@ghanatravelandtour.com. Tell us your dates, who is travelling and what you need — we reply with an itemised quote, usually within a few hours during office hours (Mon–Sat, 8am–7pm GMT).
Can I book everything from abroad before I land?
Yes. Most of our clients confirm their home, airport pickup, car and tours remotely from the UK, USA, Canada or Europe with one trip manager. You receive a single confirmation pack with every detail, contact and time.
How do I pay?
Mobile Money (MTN, Telecel, AT), bank transfer in GHS, USD, GBP or EUR, or Visa / Mastercard. A deposit confirms your booking and the balance is due before or on arrival — the exact split is written on your quote so there are no surprises.
Do you work with travel agents abroad?
Yes. We act as the ground partner in Ghana for agencies overseas — meet-and-greet, transport, accommodation and guided tours under one contract. Ask about partner rates.
What happens if my plans change?
Tell us as early as you can. Date changes are usually free where our partners allow it; where a supplier (airline, hotel, embassy) charges a fee we pass it on at cost and show it to you first. Cancellation terms are stated on each quote.
🛂 Passports & visas
Do you guarantee visa approval?
No agency can — the embassy or consulate decides. What we guarantee is a complete, honest, professionally prepared application with a named consultant who checks every document before submission, and clear advice if we think an application is unlikely to succeed.
How long does a Ghana passport take?
Timelines are set by the Passport Office and change from time to time. Standard applications have typically taken around two to three weeks after biometrics; express service is faster. We book the earliest available biometric slot and track the application for you.
Which visas do you help with?
UK, USA, Canada, Schengen (Europe), UAE, South Africa, Türkiye, China and more — see the country guides on the services page. For visitors coming to Ghana we also advise on Ghana entry requirements.
Do I need a visa to visit Ghana?
Most non-African visitors need a Ghana visa arranged before travel through a Ghana embassy or high commission; ECOWAS citizens do not. Ghana has also run visa-on-arrival windows and announced wider visa-free access for African passport holders, and rules change — we confirm the current requirement for your passport before you book. Every traveller aged 9 months and over must carry a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate.
🏡 Private homes in Kasoa
Are the homes safe?
The homes are in gated compounds in Kasoa Opeikuma with 24/7 security, CCTV and backup power, and our team lives locally — help is minutes away. Full details and photos are on the stays page.
What is included in a home stay?
A fully furnished private home (3, 4 or 5 bedrooms), housekeeping, Wi-Fi, backup power, a welcome pack and a named contact for the length of your stay. Airport pickup, a car with driver, cooking and tours can be added to the same booking.
Can you handle a large group or a family reunion?
Yes — reunions, church groups and delegations of 20+ are common. We combine several homes, vehicles and guides into one managed programme with one point of contact.
🛬 Airport pickup & car rental
My flight lands at 2am — is pickup available?
Yes. Our arrivals desk runs 24/7, 365 days a year, and night pickups cost the same as daytime. Your driver meets you inside Kotoka International Airport (Terminal 3) with a name board.
What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
We track every flight. Delays are free — your driver adjusts automatically. If a flight is cancelled we reschedule the pickup at no charge.
Can I drive myself with a foreign licence?
A valid driving licence in English from your home country is generally accepted for short visits, or you can carry an International Driving Permit. For first visits most clients take one of our professional drivers — Accra traffic, unmarked roads and checkpoints are far easier with a local.
How far is Kasoa from the airport?
Kasoa Opeikuma is about 30 km west of Accra on the Cape Coast road. The drive from Kotoka International Airport takes roughly 1 to 1½ hours depending on traffic.
🗺️ Tours
What do your tours include?
A private air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver, a guide, entry fees where stated, bottled water and a flexible itinerary that we adjust to your pace. Meals and optional activities are shown separately on the quote.
When is the best time to visit Ghana?
November to March is the dry season — cooler, with clear roads and the best conditions for safari in the north. April to July and September to October are the rainy months (still very travelable, with short heavy showers). Our Ghana travel guide has a month-by-month planner.
Are the tours suitable for children and older travellers?
Yes. We plan around your group — shorter driving days, hotel choices with lifts and pools, and gentle alternatives to strenuous stops such as the Kakum canopy walk. Tell us who is travelling and we will build the pace around them.
Still have a question?
Ask a trip manager directly — no bots, no ticket numbers.
