What the 10-day package is
Ten days is when Ghana really opens up. Where a shorter trip keeps you close to the coast, ten days lets you pair the southern highlights with the Ashanti heartland around Kumasi — and still leave room to breathe between the long drives. It is a private, fully hosted package: we plan the route, provide the vehicle and driver-guide, and manage the day-to-day so you can simply take the country in.
This page is about the package itself — how it works, what is included and how we tailor it — rather than a fixed day-by-day plan. For a detailed longer route to read alongside, our 14-day Ghana itinerary shows how far a fortnight reaches, while the 7-day itinerary shows the shorter end. As a Kasoa-based team who run these journeys every week, we know exactly how long each leg takes and where the worthwhile detours lie.
What is included
Over ten days the value of a well-run package really shows, because there is a lot more to coordinate. As standard, the trip includes a private, air-conditioned vehicle for your group alone, an experienced driver-guide who stays with you throughout, and all the planning, timing and logistics behind the scenes. We meet you at the airport if you wish and suggest hotels to suit your budget in each place you stay.
- Private air-conditioned car or minibus for the whole trip
- One consistent, experienced driver-guide throughout
- Full multi-stop route planning and coordination
- Airport pickup and hotel recommendations on request
As always, we are clear about what sits outside the core price — site entry fees, meals and personal spending are usually separate — and your quote lays it all out. On a longer trip that transparency matters even more, so you always know exactly what you are paying for. If you would prefer, we can also wrap your hotels and meals across the whole route into one all-in figure, which many guests find easier to budget for over ten days — simply tell us which approach you would like.
How far ten days reaches, and how we tailor it
Ten days gives us room to build a route with real variety. A common shape runs down the coast to Cape Coast and Elmina and the Kakum canopy walk, then inland to Kumasi for Ashanti culture, crafts and markets, with beach or western-region time folded in. For the adventurous, it can even stretch towards the north, though that is a real trade-off in driving hours.

Nothing here is fixed. Tell us whether you lean towards history, culture, nature or slow beach days and we rebalance accordingly — our Kumasi and Ashanti guide is a good taste of the inland leg. We will also be honest about what genuinely fits ten days versus what would leave you living in the car.
Getting the pace right
The luxury of ten days is not only how much you see, but how comfortably you see it. Ghana's roads mean some journeys take longer than the map suggests, and cramming too much in is the quickest way to spoil a good trip. We build in sensible driving days and time to rest, so the highlights land properly rather than flying past a window.

Even so, ten days is not endless. Reaching Mole National Park in the north and doing the south justice in the same trip is ambitious, and we would rather talk it through than overpromise. If you are still weighing the length, our guide on how many days in Ghana you need is worth a read before you decide.
How to book and what it costs
We do not publish a fixed price for a 10-day package, and on a trip this varied that would be almost meaningless. The fair figure depends on your group size, the standard of hotels you want across ten nights, the season, and how far your route ranges — a coast-and-Ashanti loop is quite different from one that pushes north. A single number could not reflect all that honestly.

Instead, send us your dates and group size and we will design a route and return a clear, all-in quote. A modest deposit secures your dates, and a real person here in Kasoa handles everything.

Ten days is our favourite length for showing people the Ghana we love — enough to reach the coast and the Ashanti heartland, and enough to slow down and actually enjoy it. With every drive, hotel and stop handled, all you have to do is travel. We would be delighted to help you shape the trip.

Questions people ask
How do I book a 10-day Ghana tour package?
Send us your dates and group size through our Plan my trip page or on WhatsApp. We design a route across the south and Ashanti region, tailor it to your interests and send a clear, all-in quote. A real person based in Kasoa manages the whole booking from first message to departure.
What is included in the 10-day package?
As standard you get a private air-conditioned vehicle for your group, one consistent driver-guide throughout, and all the multi-stop planning, with airport pickup and hotel suggestions on request. Site entry fees, meals and personal spending are usually extra, and your quote sets out everything clearly.
Can the 10-day tour be customised?
Yes, extensively. Ten days gives real room to shape the route around history, culture, nature or slow beach days, from the coast and Kakum to Kumasi and the western region. Tell us what you love and we rebalance the days, and we will be honest about what genuinely fits the time.
Can I reach the north, like Mole, in ten days?
It is possible but ambitious. Pushing to Mole National Park in the north and doing the south justice in the same trip means long driving days. We would rather talk it through and set an honest pace than overpromise. Often a focused south-and-Ashanti route makes for a more enjoyable ten days.
How much does a 10-day tour cost?
We do not publish a fixed price, because a fair figure depends on group size, hotel standard across ten nights, season and how far you range. A coast-and-Ashanti loop differs from one pushing north. Send us your details and we will return a clear, tailored, all-in quote.
Is a deposit required, and are you reliable?
A modest deposit secures your dates, with the balance as agreed in your quote. We are a Kasoa-based team running these journeys every week, with well-kept vehicles and one consistent driver-guide throughout, and we stay in contact the whole way. Ghana is also one of the region's calmest, most welcoming countries to tour.
What I know about Ghanaian travel comes from doing it: filing passport and visa applications, booking flights and hotels, collecting people from arrivals at two in the morning, and driving the Accra, Tema, Cape Coast and Kumasi runs week after week. Where this guide describes how something works, it is because we have done it.
Rules, fees and timetables in Ghana change. I have deliberately not quoted figures that go stale — where a number matters I name the office to confirm it with. If you spot something out of date, tell me and we will fix it.
